Unearthing MicroRNA Mysteries to Stop Skeletal Shenanigans!
This app was developed using R Shiny, and I enhanced the entire user interface.
Skeletal birth defects rank among the most prevalent congenital anomalies, often resulting from a complex interplay of genetic and environmental factors, primarily linked to gene expression dysregulation. Identifying biomarkers for prenatal assessment could improve early detection and provide therapeutic targets. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are promising biomarkers that may predict exposure to environmental toxins.
This web app aims to examine the dysregulated miRNA profiles in human embryonic stem cells exposed to toxicants known to disrupt early osteogenesis, with the goal of identifying specific miRNAs involved in bone development pathways.
